Star Wars galaxies is an online role playing game where you are living in the Star Wars galaxy. You earn money to buy your vehicles and deeds to build a house.
How to earn money and Experience points
To earn money you talk to "job giving" people in the cities of many planets in the galaxy. You also get experience points when you do quests. Experience points lead you through the game and each time you get experience points it is added to the experience tracker. When you load it there will be icons of abilities. When you click on the icon you can see what you get when you reach that level.
Chat with other online players
When you see other online players you can chat with them. In the bottom left corner you can see a box. That box is the chat box. You hit the enter key on your keyboard. Then you type your message. Now you hit the enter key again. Now they will see your message.
Your Maps
There are 2 maps, one is in the top right corner and the other one you can activate by hitting the M key. The map in the top right corner shows the terrain and the other online players. It will also show you enemies, and natural units. The map that you open by hitting the M key shows the buildings that are in back of you and in front of you, and on the side of you.
The planetary Map
The planetary map shows all the things on the planet you are on. The map shows the cities, the points of interest, the Starport, the Cantina, and other areas that you can visit.
Powers
When you get a special ability you can activate it by hitting the number of that special ability. To earn your special ability you have to earn experience points.
